Well, I haven't written a journal in a while, so I might as well prove to all that I still tick and kick...

Art Up Date:
I have decided that I am going to give up trying to paint on canvas. I suck at it and my heart just isn't in it. It is really hard to even complete a bad piece, so, my efforts and energies are better used elsewhere. ... I have instead been focusing on sewing clothes for the BJDs. I hav having great sucess with that. I am working on developing patterns and working my way up to producing fantastic costumes worth actual money. I have also started looking into silicon molding and resin casting. I want to produce some of my own doll pieces. ... Also, Maddog is working on a video game so he is pretty much teaching me Blender and Milkshape. I like Blender better for 3d rendering because I can tell early on that it has the most possibilities.

Home Update:
Home life is good. Fal, Maddog and I are on track to get a house this spring. Everyone is gainfully employeed. I had a bit of a medical issue recently, but it looks like all is going to be okay there. I just wish I could pick and choose my genes and leave the defective ones out. But oh well to that notion. ... Fal and Maddog are the best. They treat me like the most important thing on the planet and when I feel ill or need help, they are always there (even for the most embarassing and disgusting parts of being ill). So, the very day I could get up and go after being sick I baked cookies and cooked some of their favorite meals (since I hadn't cooked for a week). It is so strange... Fal and Maddog are so good to me that I sometimes question if I cosmically diserve the joys of such a loving family unit (no matter how unconventional) after the turbulant (understatement) child hood I had growing up.

Cat Update:
On another note... KITTENS!!!! As many people know... I am a cat person. We have three beautiful, once stray, kitties. However, I am having to excercise the word "no" a lot recently as there are always kittens being foundaround my work and they are being offered around the cubicles. I can easily say no to a jpeg on a craigslist posting. I cant easily say no to a mewing ball of fluff right there in front of me. Seriously, If cats are going to breed so fast, then they need a shorter natural lifespan! Grrrrrr..... Also, I firmly believe in spay and neuter and all my animals have had the operation...
